Who is pilates good for?

Pilates is good for everyone & anyone.

Consistent pilates training can improve your wellbeing in many ways. It can help with back pain, clicking hips, poor posture, muscle imbalances, brain fog, mental health, improved athletic performance, reduced chances of injury, physical health, muscle tone, etc.

I am a beginner, where do I start?

You are welcome to join any of our classes. However, if you would like to ease into it; we recommend the following classes; Sculpt & Stretch, Tone, Align or Form.

Do I need an initial consult before joining a class?

No you don’t need to however if you would feel more comfortable coming in to go through the Pilates basics then book a 1:1 session first.

What do I need to bring to my class?

Just yourself, water & some pilates socks.
We are a socks-on studio for hygiene and safety purposes. Either wear normal socks or pilates socks. You can purchase pilates socks in the studio if you do not have any.
If you prefer to use your own mat feel free to bring it along.

I am pregnant, can I still attend a normal class?

Yes! During your first trimester you’re welcome to join all of our classes. From week 13 the following classes are suitable for pregnancy: Tone, Sculpt & Stretch, Align, Barre, Form & Restorative Flow Yoga. As long as you have checked with your health professional and have notified your instructor to let us know so we can ensure you’re moving safely.

When should I incorporate pilates into my postpartum journey?

Once you have clearance from your health professional and you’re feeling up to it. Please ensure to give us as much information about your journey & recovery so we can guide you as much as possible.

What’s Studio Tone’s hygiene policy?

All equipment is cleaned after each class/client use.

We ask that if you are unwell to please cancel your class and attend when you’re feeling better.

You’re more than welcome to bring your own mat.
If you wish to purchase your own mat, we have them for sale in Studio.

Grip socks / socks are to be worn during classes. We have them for purchase in Studio.

What’s your cancellation policy?

We have a 3 hour cancellation policy to ensure everyone has the opportunity to attend our classes.

Clients can view and manage their bookings through Momence booking system or App.

Please turn on your notifications in your Momence account to stay up to date with any class or waitlist changes.
